Loresho hasn’t done much in recent times but he has been one of the better backed runners on the Randwick card this Saturday via to take out the Metropolitan (2400m).

The Darren Weir trained stayer did catch the eye though last time out in the JRA Trophy (2500m) at Flemington, working home with purpose late to run fifth to the dominant winner Almandin. That is the Melbourne Cup winner, so the form reads well and the punters think he can run a race at odds, backing him into $26 from $61 at one stage but currently sits at $31.

We have three equal favs at $5.50, all trained by Chris Waller: Libran ($5-$5.50), Antonio Giuseppe ($5.50) and Life Less Ordinary ($5.50).

There has been moves at odds also for Chocante ($13-$11), Broadside ($10-$8-$8.50) and Foundry ($9-$8).

Market and moves thanks to
