The Best Ever Easter Egg Hunt presented by CADBURY will be under starter’s orders at Caulfield Racecourse on Saturday 15 April with the annual show case event preparing to hide 45,000 delicious CADBURY Easter eggs on the front lawn.
There will be a total of five separate egg hunting sessions commencing from midday onwards with the littlies (aged 6 years and under) participating in their own special edition. CADBURY’s iconic life sized Easter Bunny will make an appearance throughout the day to say hello while a number of free children’s activities including amusement rides, pony rides and face painting will be in full swing.
For those who haven’t pre-registered their children online for The Best Ever Easter Egg Hunt presented by CADBURY, there will be an opportunity to get involved in the action on the day for just $5 with proceeds going to Camp Quality. Simply head to the front lawn to register with all children to be accompanied by their parents.
Racegoers will also be able to witness legendary race caller Greg Miles’ OAM last ever race call. Victoria’s iconic voice of racing will hang up his binoculars after calling a record-breaking 36 Caulfield Cups, Melbourne Cups and Cox Plates, with a special presentation to take place in the mounting yard after race 3 to commemorate the end of his distinguished broadcast career as he hands over to Matthew Hill.
Greg will have to wait slightly longer than originally planned before officially retiring, with an extra race added to Saturday’s now 10 race program which commences at 11.50am due to the early cancellation of races last Saturday at Caulfield because of inclement weather.
Victoria’s long weekend of racing continues at Mornington Racecourse on Easter Sunday, with another exciting CADBURY Easter Egg Hunt set to transform the front lawn into a chocolate paradise while Easter Monday at Ladbrokes.com.au Australia Park (Sandown) will complete the weekend’s festivities.
