Punters want a good thing this Saturday and they believe it will come via a mare in the last at Sandown this Saturday, the Summoned Stakes (1500m).
That mare is Petition, who last raced in the Tristarc and was very stiff behind Global Glamour. That form didn’t hold up at all in the Myer, so there are queries there, but she was the clear eye catcher. She was crunched to $3.00 after opening $3.30 but is now back to $3.20.
That late drift is due to the support for Invincibella, who was out to $4.50 from $4.20 but is now back into $4.40 with the hard racing under the belt looking to be an advantage.
The mare that is very solid in betting is the one at the top, Ravi, who is an unknown at $15 but no doubting her ability. She is at $7.50 and has been supported, in from $8.00.
