Perth Glory vs Sydney FC Tips and Odds – A-League 2017 Round 24

Sydney are taking care of business and did so in the first week of the split round with a workmanlike win over the Central Coast Mariners. The Glory on the other hand flirted with the inconsistent form that had plagued them earlier in the season to score first but then give up four goals against the Victory.

Rhys Williams has been impressive since his return to the Glory squad and he will miss this match on international duty. Andrew Redmayne will start in goals for the Sky Blues with Danny Vukovic and Rhyan Grant away with the Socceroos.

Perth has been thrashed in both matches against Sydney this season although we do not see this fixture going the same away. Sydney will miss the run and creativity of Grant on the wing and the dominance of Vukovic in goals. If Perth are in red-hot form they may be able to salvage a draw, although a closer win than the previous two games this season is a more likely result.

Previous Games: 4-1 (Sydney – Round 6), 1-4 (Sydney – Round 11)
