When: 19:50 | Thursday 29/06/2017
Where: ANZ Stadium
I love watching games like this which have the build-up of the community and like many others, I’ve been watching these clashes since I was a kid.
When rivals like this go head-to-head you can throw any sort of form out the window.
I’m sure the crowds will turn up to this game and support their local teams.
Clint Gutherson is set to play at fullback and he’s a natural footballer and can anticipate where the play is going in defence and attack.
From what the guys say about him, he’s a guy’s guy and loves to party and he’s well respected throughout the playing group and luckily for him he has a long way to go in the NRL.
Moses Mybe has been struggling with form all year and should be a key player for the Bulldogs in attack.
The Bulldogs won’t make the top eight this season but they’ll all be playing for pride in the jersey, club and fans.
The Eels are building up to something special in 2017.
They’ve picked up some good players late last year which have given them the flexibility in the halves to make the opposition second guess each of their last plays.
Parramatta at $1.47
Canterbury at $2.75
Tip: Parramatta at $1.47
Line tip: Canterbury +6.5
