Punters have singled out a Victorian raider with just one race start of experience to take out the Oaklands Plate (1400m) this Saturday at Morphettville Parks.

Heir To The Throne, trained by Henry Dwyer, debuted on a soft track at Echuca where he was completely unwanted in betting and while the run was okay behind Onehundred Percent, somebody clearly knows something. He opened $31 and was slapped immediately, into $12 and remains there.

Favourite for the race is another Victorian, the David Briedoake trained Terry, who is at $4.40 and rock solid after an impressive debut win and gets Matty Neilson steering.

Another met with interest at odds if Fancy Rumble, who is $13 in from $18.
