It’s great they’re sending this game to Waikato as it opens up the game to young guys who might not be involved with Rugby League and might start playing or enjoying it.
Rugby Union is New Zealand’s national game and I can’t see that changing when they have the best team in the world.
However, League is healthy and is growing in NZ, so if the Warriors can get into the top eight and play finals footy, it can only get better.
You usually look at the big names for someone to stand up but the halves have been doing an incredible job finding the tryline and creating opportunities to give the Warriors every chance of winning.
I would like Bunty Afoa to stand up and as he’s starting a lock and usually plays reserve grade.
I would also like the forwards to play for the whole 80 minutes as a group rather than just 40.
We said last week the Dragons’ forward pack is relentless and the in-form pack of the competition.
They did it again last week and will continue to push forward again this week against the Warriors.
Tyson Frizell is one player that is just always on fire for the Dragons, this guy has been so consistent for years.
Fans and NRL reporters thought that the Dragons would have been in the bottom four of the comp but they are just standing up for each other in defence and have every chance of being there at the end of the season if they have a full squad.
Warriors got embarrassed last week and I can’t see them losing this week.
This will be a morale-boosting victory for the Warriors
New Zealand at $1.60
St.George-Illawarra at $2.45
Tip: New Zealand at $1.60
Line tip: New Zealand -5.5
