We take a look at tonight’s NRL Round 21 clash between the New Zealand Warriors and the Cronulla Sharks. The Warriors have had trouble with consistency this year but at home they have proven hard to beat so it does shape up to be a good match against a decent Sharks side. The Warriors haven’t shown much fight this season.

With an amazing pack and an incredible backline, they should have been fighting for a top four spot not booking their end of season trip.

The Sharks will miss the injured James Maloney and they’ll miss the options he brings when he runs at the line and of course his kicking ability.

Maloney is one of the in-form players this season and every team would hate coming up against him as he is a whizz with the ball.

I’m sure Cronulla will create a game plan that will work and Jack Bird will slot in until Maloney is back.

The Verdict

Even though the Sharks are missing Maloney, I still think they’ll run away with this game.

Cronulla have hit their peak and are getting ready for finals football.
