Punters are keeping their powder dry when it comes to the Group l Moir Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley this Friday night with nothing really supported with confidence at this stage.

Favourite for the race is Russian Revolution for Team Snowden off the back of a dominant first up win in the McEwen. He was $3.30 to $2.90 but has eased to $3.30. He holds sway ahead of the Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign, who sits at $4.20 after opening $4.

That pair do dominate the market. The only other runner at single figures is Sheidel at $7.50, but she did firm to $7 at one stage, largely due to the Moreira factor.

If you’re looking for value, the best backed at odds has clearly been Faatinah, who opened $34 and has firmed at every call, now into $17.
