Merchant Navy is two for two to date and punters believe the Ciaron Maher trained youngster will continue the picket fence in the Anzac Day Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on Tuesday.

The two year old toughed it out very strongly to win last time out at Sandown as a short priced elect and he has been backed with confidence to repeat the dose at headquarters. He opened the $2.25 favourite and has firmed, now sitting at $2.10.

Impressive last start Bendigo (Metro) winner Speed Street is next best at $5 while there has been support for the sharp Echuca debut winner Casino Fourteen, into $7 from $8.

Malzoom eased to $14 from $13 but is back into his opening price, but it really is all about Merchant Navy.
