This afternoons match between the Melbourne Storm and the South Sydney Rabbitohs looks a pretty one sided affair with the Storm going in as the short odds favourites. The Storm can all but wrap up the Minor Premiership today whilst the Rabbitohs aren’t playing for much.
When: 17:30 | Saturday 26/08/2017
Where: AAMI Park
Cooper Cronk’s returns after a week’s rest and I don’t think Bellamy will rest too many players this week but I love the fact he will be resting players when they know they have secured the minor premiership.
If he does rest them, it will give them so much more staying power coming into the finals especially the players that were in the Origin series.
The Rabbitohs playing well now is like they were in pre-season for the first part of the competition and it’s all just starting to fall into place now.
If they can keep a few of the younger players in their squad, then they’ll be back in the top eight next year.
Sam Burgess is the best player in their team and he brings out the best in each player when he’s on the field.
He will make massive metres and he can play the entire 80 minutes.
We’re all looking forward to watching him in the World Cup.
Melbourne are just the most amazing team to watch in 2017 and they’ll win this by moving the ball left to right and attacking the edges.
Melbourne at $1.16
South Sydney at $5.50
Tip: Melbourne at $1.16
Line tip: Melbourne -14.5
