We take a look at todays NRL Round 17 clash between Manly Sea Eagles and the New Zealand Warriors. Both teams have been a bit hit or miss this season and on paper this looks a close one however the Warriors have never won at NIB Stadium which is a concern. Where: nib Stadium

If they can keep a full-strength side heading into the finals, they’ll have a big chance of creating some upsets but I don’t think they’ll win the premiership this season.

Along with Munster, Daly Cherry-Evans  is being talked about as a possible Origin replacement for Thurston, but Munster needs to be selected.

He has the player group on his side and if DCE comes in, it will bring a lot more media attention.

The returning Keiran Foran is a massive inclusion.

He might be only three quarters fit but they’re pushing him back into the side to try and keep their finals hopes alive.

They don’t have to worry about him next season, so a long-term injury isn’t really a concern for them moving forward.

If he’s ruled out for the season they’ll have no hope of playing finals football, so this is a big gamble.

The Verdict

Manly are gelling at the moment and the Warriors are hit and miss, so I have to go with Manly.
