Punters are a bit miffed as to who will take out the feature race at Flemington on Tuesday, the time honoured VRC St Leger (2800m), with nothing really backed with confidence at this stage.

Favourite for the race is the filly Miss Strathallan at $4 and is rock solid. She holds sway ahead of Lycurgus ($4.20-$4.40). That pair do dominate the market, with the next best being Baykool at $7 followed by Rock And Swing at $7.50, and he has firmed from $8.

Dornier opened as a $34 outsider and did have admirers at one stage, into $21, but is back out to $31. Parthesia for Darren Weir is solid at $7.50 while Penthouse Kitten represents value at $11, out from $10.
