Despite a rise in grade/depth, Sportsbet.com.au punters are happy to back King Viv at the odds in the Premiers Cup (1900m) at Rosehill this Saturday.

The Kim Waugh trained stayer comes back to the 1900m after winning impressively over 2000m at the track under a heavy ride from Tye Angland. Jay Ford takes over and is on the minimum. He opened $11 and has firmed at every call, now into $7.00.

Favourite for the race is the Waterhouse/Bott trained stayer Broadside at $2.90. He opened that price and did firm to $2.60 before a late drift back to the opening price.

That was due to a late push for Classic Uniform who touched $6 from $5 and is now back at the latter price with some bets rolling in for the Gary Moore trained runner.
