He produced a big effort to win last start, and Sportsbet.com.au punters are thinking William Wallace can repeat the dose in the Glasshouse Handicap (1400m) this Saturday at the Sunshine Coast.

The kiwi raider looked no hope last time out over 1350m at Ipswich where he was last at the top of the straight, but he produced a brilliant finishing burst to nail them right on the line. Bigger track suits, as does the rise to 1400m. He opened $19 and has been backed immediately, into $11.

Favourite for the race is Too Good To Refuse, who ran well last Saturday. He is $5.50 and been a bit easy after opening $5. Other key runners on the slide are The Monstar ($10-$13), Flamboyer ($7.50-$9), Yesterday’s Songs ($8-$9) and Man Of His Word ($7.50-$9).

In His Stride was an early drifter, out to $15 from $10, but has firmed a touch into $14.
