Punters are warming to Mister Sea Wolf to quality for the Doncaster by winning the Villiers Stakes (1600m) at Randwick this Saturday.

The import debuted in the Festival Stakes at Rosehill and was a real eye catcher when beaten a lip by Testashadow ($15-$17). Punters are expecting him to go one better with the run under the belt. He opened $6, got down to $5 but is now at $5.50.

Favourite for the race is the low flying Interlocuter, but he has been easy in early betting, out to $3.40 from $3, but I think that is due to the opening odds being rock bottom.

The Queensland raider Crack Me Up, trained by Liam Birchley, has been well backed, opening $8 and firming to $7. Despite being a flop in the Festival, there is interest for Cabeza De Vaca ($9-$10-$8).
