The Hayes/Dabernig stable has dominated two year old racing this season, and Sportsbet.com.au punters are expecting them to cap it off by claiming the ultimate prize for the babies, the Golden Slipper (1200m) this Saturday at Rosehill.
Blue Diamond winner Catchy hasn’t raced since winning that feature at Caulfield and the form has been franked for the weekend via the impressive win in the Magic Night of stablemate Tulip ($11-$9.00). All the betting has been for Catchy to win. She opened $7 after the final field/barrier draw and has been crunched, now into $5.00.
Favourite for the race is star Queenslander and Magic Millions winner Houtzen at $4.40. She has had a couple of $4.20-$4.40 flucs. The horse that was the fav for a long, She Will Reign, is $6.00 after easing out from $5.50.
The other filly that has had good support is the Reisling winner Frolic at $13 after opening $15.
