We take a look at todays NRL Round 15 clash between Cronulla Sharks and Wests Tigers. The Sharks will be looking to pressure the top two teams with a win whilst the Tigers will be looking to take points from a top side which they have been unable to do this season. View our Cronulla Sharks vs Wests Tigers Tips.

When: 19:30 | Saturday 17/06/2017

Where: Southern Cross Group Stadium

The Sharks having Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis still in the team gives them the upper hand for this game.

Gallen provides a lot of passion for his team and the players want to follow and respond to him.

He’s one of those leaders that gives his all every game and he’ll tell you if you haven’t stepped up to the occasion.

All players will want to leave an impression on Gallen and the coach, so they can play finals football.

Cronulla have some depth and also have Daniel Mortimer coming off the bench.

The Wests Tigers will already be looking at the next game.

This isn’t going to end well for the Tigers, not only are they missing those boys but not having Mitchell Moses as well leaves a big whole for them.

Tuimoala Lolohea is a good signing but he’ll be better next year.

Now that he’s playing for the Tigers, we can have a better look at him as he’ll be playing more minutes than he was over in New Zealand.

For some reason, he wasn’t getting a lot of minutes and that tells me something wasn’t gelling with the coach.

The Verdict

The Sharks will unfortunately run around the Tigers all game. I expect this to be a high-scoring game.
