We take a look at Friday mornings NFL match between the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans. Both teams are looking for their first win of the season after losing in round one. View our Cincinnati Bengals vs Houston Texans tips below.
When: Friday, September 15, 10.25am (AEST)
Where: Paul Brown Stadium
An extremely disappointing and embarrassing start to the season for both these teams with the Texans smacked by AFC South rival Jaguars and the Bengals kept scoreless at home against their AFC North rival, Ravens.
Texans QB Tom Savage didn’t last long with former Clemson star DeShaun Watson taking over but although he showed glimpses, has to overcome an ankle injury.
Either way, he’s the long-term future.
For the Bengals, the inexperienced O-Line didn’t protect QB Andy Dalton well enough and they’ll need to hold firm against a lively Texans defence but should be encouraged the Jaguars were able to put up 29 points on them.
I’m going to stick with the Bengals at home in a low scoring match-up even though they were shut out last week with the Texans to slip to 0-2.
Line tip: Houston +3.5
