Talia, 21, has agreed to a three-year extension at Adelaide after coming to terms on a new deal this week ahead of an AFL season opening engagement with Essendon.
Talia's new deal was announced at Adelaide's season launch on Tuesday night.
The reigning AFL Rising Star remained loyal to his inaugural club after the Crows lost key defenders Nathan Bock and Phil Davis to new league franchises in the past two years.
Bock, who was an All-Australian key backman in 2008, headed to Gold Coast and Davis, at just 22, is a co-captain with Greater Western Sydney.
Talia held down some of the league's most influential key forwards last season in his stunning consistency that almost secured All-Australian selection.
The tight-checking key defender was a significant facet in Adelaide's run into a top-two finish before a heart-breaking five-point preliminary final loss to Hawthorn.
Talia was originally recruited to the Crows from Victoria as pick number 13 overall in the national draft at the end of 2009.
He has played 32 senior games, with his last season a genuine breakout for the classy backman after missing much of 2011 with a nagging achilles ankle problem.
