Franklin was cleared of an incident in the second-half of his NAB Cup trip to the Gold Coast at the weekend.
The powerhouse goal-scoring force is now clear to play in the blockbuster AFL season opener against Geelong on Easter Monday.
Franklin, 26, was investigated for a hit into the head and above the shoulders of young Gold Coast defender Matt Shaw.
The match review panel assessed Franklin's hit as an open hand and that his contact was not deemed a striking offence.
Match review analysts also announced an all-clear to rising Carlton key forward Levi Casboult after a heavy body clash against Greater Western Sydney on Sunday.
Casboult clashed in a marking contest with Giants young back man Matt Buntine.
The panel ruled the collision as acccidental and the young Blue was cleared of any charge.
A match day report by umpire Andrew Mitchell on Gold Coast Suns’ Andrew Boston and the Brisbane Lions’ Claye Beams was dismissed.
The review panel announced that Beams had his head down over the ball and was trying to win possession as he moved forward. Boston was stationary and had his hands down in front of him as Beams came towards him.
"At the last moment, Boston turned his body and high contact was made as the Brisbane player runs into him," the AFL announced in a statement.
"It was the view of the panel that Boston did not have a realistic alternative way to contest the ball and no further action was taken."
