Last night Masten sent the Twitterverse into a craze when he came back after 12 months of absence to tweet exclusive images of he and Ralph swimwear model girlfriend, Emmi Moore dressed as Warriors. The images were taken in support of ‘The World’s Largest Running Series’ Warrior Dash and Masten, who is renowned for his ever evolving image, has officially been announced as the ‘Warrior Beard’ mascot for the event series.
Taking the honour of this announcement one step further, Masten is challenging Warrior Dash participants to grow a ‘Warrior Beard’ like his in support of the event’s official charity partner, the Australian Red Cross.
After the announcement of his tweet, a number of West Coast Eagle’s players including Nic Naitanui, Mark Nicoski and Sharrod Wellingham began showering Masten with support in his quest to start the Warrior beard revolution. Fellow Eagle and facial hair enthusiast Will Schofield, chimed in posting an image of both his beard and Masten’s beard side by side.
Warrior Dash is a 5km mud obstacle event and has attracted over 1,000,000 participants worldwide. This internationally successful event will be invading Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales in 2013 and all charitable dollars fundraised will go towards the Australian Red Cross.
