Voges, 33, has been placed on stand-by for a return to the national one-day team to play the West Indies in Sydney on Friday after middle-order specialist George Bailey reported a hamstring strain.
Voges was recalled to Australia's Twenty20 team late last month following an impressive Big Bash tournament with his franchise Perth Scorchers.
He went on to hammer a stunning unbeaten 77 against New South Wales and then a superb 112 against Queensland in successive one-day outings for Western Australia.
Voges continued that imposing form with 38 in his state's paltry innings of 111 against Queensland at the Gabba and a second innings 72 as his side crashed back into a Sheffield Shield game this week.
He will join the national team in Sydney on Thursday night immediately after conclusion of his Shield clash with the Bulls.
