The NSW and Test centre ended months of speculation about his future by agreeing to join the Roosters from Penrith, three years before the end of his $600,000 a year contract.
Jennings arrived at his new club's Moore Park headquarters just after 9am (AEDT) and underwent a medical to rubber-stamp his new deal, but will not be paraded in front of the media officially until Thursday.
"I'm excited to see the boys. It's a fresh new start for me," was all the 24-year-old said as he was escorted out of the building and to his car in a bid to evade the waiting media by Roosters' recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan.
