Superbowl ads battle it out

IT IS the battle that takes place around the sporting war - the Superbowl ads that cost millions to make and broadcast - and make or break your brand.

As the Giants and the Patriots contested Superbowl XLVI, the global corporate superpowers put their dollars and advertising sense to the public.

Forbes, who list the world's global powerbrokers and the planet's richest people, deemed the Superbowl advertising so important it named its top 10.

Coca Cola's animated bears - and the version of the ad changing according to the score, claimed top honours.

Honda's revisiting of Matthew Broderick/Ferris Bueller created buzz a week out from the game, with the associated BlackBerry app attempting to maintain the hype.

But according to YouTube, the Toyota clip featuring scantily clad females as the car was reinvented was the people's choice.
