Allenby and Ogilvy challenged to fight

A TOP online betting agency has challenged feuding Australian golf stars to take their battle into the boxing ring.

Bookmakers declared on Tuesday that they will donate $100,000 to the charity of the winner’s choice if Allenby and Ogilvy take their war of words into the ring to "sort out their differences" the old fashioned way.

Ogilvy and Allenby had a heated argument at the end of last weekend's PGA Championship at Coolum, which was won by left-hander Greg Chalmers.

“Ogilvy obviously wasn’t happy after Allenby’s comments so we are giving him the chance to not only put up his dukes but also the added motivation of $100,000 to his favourite charity should he win,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

“On paper it looks to be a pretty even fight.

"Both are lightweights with long reaches but Allenby can look rather mean when he stares so perhaps he’d go in as the slight favourite.”
