As the deadline for delisted primary list players to nominate for 2011 NAB Draft passed, 44 players put their hands up for another chance at AFL level.
Fevola’s desire to return has already been well documented, with Collingwood and Essendon just this week being linked and distancing themselves from the troubled forward.
Wonaeamirri was cut by Melbourne after flashes of brilliance in his fledgling career, but after the Demons were unable to make contact with the goal sneak after returning home to the Northern Territory, he was delisted.
The desire to play is apparently still there, as it is for Adamm Maric who was also dumped by the Demons.
Brad Dick is already hoping for a new home at Fremantle, after his injury plagued time at Collingwood was cut short.
The forward has been training with the Dockers this week, after undergoing medical tests
And Ablett is perhaps the surprise nomination, given his second chance at an AFL career was cut short by the Suns, following his self-enforced exile after winning a premiership with Geelong.
Some of the names missing from thelist were ex-Magpie John McCarthy and Hawthorn premiership player Rick Ladson.
The AFL draft takes place in Sydney next Thursday.
