The FA Cup Final is a match I always got up for as a kid.
It has a great history and has always been a competition that captures real emotion.
This year’s final looks to be a real cracker.
Arsenal have had a very tough energy-sapping season with media speculation over Wenger, Sanchez, and Giroud’s future not helping.
They’ve finished the season well and if they manage to play the best football they can, we know it’s possible to win.
Wenger will have to make some decisions with defenders Laurent Koscielny to miss the game and Gabriel under an injury cloud.
Defenders of top quality who have been regular players are a big loss but anything is possible in a one-off Cup final.
Shkodran Mustafi should come back in after being ill and that will help.
Chelsea will have a fearless attitude but won’t play silly football. They’re champions for a reason this season.
They’ve won playing well, not being at their best and also by staying in a game until the sting has been taken out.
Confidence will be there of course and they’ll be thinking they’re a great chance of the win.
Conte and Chelsea to do a double this season is enormous.
We were all talking about Manchester City at start of the season if we are being honest.
An early, subtle change to formation has been the turning point for Chelsea.
You can only heap praise on Conte for bringing that style which he knew so well to a team where players were totally new to it and some positions they played.
KEY BATTLE: N’Golo Kante v Aaron Ramsey
Will go the midfield tussle because it’ll tilt the balance to the winning team if carried out effectively.
Kante has been amazing again this season and if he can break play up and handle Ramsay’s (pictured above) forward runs, then Chelsea win.
I think he can, so I have him on top in this battle.
I’m going with Chelsea finishing off an impressive season with an extra time victory.
They have the belief and even if they were to concede there has been a calmness about them that would still bring them back into the game.
