This footy season, resident tipster and footy legend (he told us to write that) Nathan Brown will be providing his best bets before every round. The great man definitely fancies himself as a punter and is relishing the chance to provide Sportsbet readers with his unique insider’s perspective. He’s also relishing the chance to get his mug on another one of your screens!

Last week I told you to look at the Total Points overs market with all nine games being over the line. Again there are some games this week in the overs market, even though bookies have raised the lines by 10 – 15 points on last week.

It looks like it’ll rain on Thursday, but if things clear up, Richmond vs Collingwood should be high scoring. The total game points market is 184.5

The Dogs vs Sydney game should get over the 180.5 too, as will West Coast vs St Kilda at 192.5 and Melbourne vs Carlton  at 181.5

Western Bulldogs should also take care of Sydney at the -10.5 line for $1.90. The Swans are without four of their top six goal kickers from 2016 while their best defender in Rampe won’t play. The Dogs will be winning.

Hawthorn represent value at $2.70 for big win little win 1-39 points. Adelaide don’t play the MCG that well and the Hawks should respond after disappointing last week. All of Hathorn’s stars can’t collectively play that badly again.
