Adelaide v GWS | Sunday, March 26, 2.50pm (AEDT), Adelaide Oval, Adelaide

Premiership favourites GWS have a giant task ahead of them against the Crows who have turned Adelaide Oval into a fortress.

Adelaide Oval was a happy hunting ground for the Crows last season with the Crows winning 11 of 14.

A year after crashing out in the Prelim finals in Sydney, the Giants will be desperate to go one step further this season and their talent pool shows no signs of drying up.

Former no.2 draft pick and Sandringham Dragons star Tim Taranto is set to make his debut and the 19-year-old midfielder joins one the AFL’s most exciting and explosive midfields.

The Verdict

With such a dominant record in Adelaide, the Crows would normally be an easy pick but with injury concerns hanging over the heads of Rory Sloane, captain Taylor Walker and Jake Lever, the Giants look poised to strike.

The Giants also travel extremely well and were a very respectable 7-3 in interstate fixtures last year.
